She tries to hide this friendship when she meets the popular girls Skylar and Quinn. When Skylar no longer has the possibility of being elected for school queen of the school year, she encourages people to vote for Grace as a joke. Grace wins and is publicly humiliated... Skylar makes it seem like Cara is to blame for this. As a result, Cara must earn the trust back from both Brandon and Grace.
