Isabelle is a beautiful, but also very spoiled, self-centered socialite who flaunts her money for attention and fame. Her uncle - who raised her - complains about her behavior but also doesn't know what to do about it. On a whim, Isabelle decides to go on a skiing trip to Switzerland and takes one of her friends. While they are cross-country skiing, they get into an argument and part ways. Isabelle continues on her own but gets lost in the forest while a snowstorm is quickly approaching. She falls and hurts her ankle, and just when she's about to freeze to death she sees a remote cabin. She decides to knock on the door and stumbles upon Jeremy. An American who moved to the middle of nowhere so he could escape his past. He nurses her ankle back to health so that she can return to civilization. In the meantime, Isabelle discovers how awful her behavior has been, and in reaction to Jeremy's influence she starts to change. But can this 'new' Isabelle continue this transformation while she's supposed to leave? And can the relationship she build with Jeremy last if he swears to never return home again?
