Growing up in a small town, Ann Stanway arrives in Hollywood to work as a caterer. Working at a Hollywood party, she meets the handsome actor Scott Adsen and the two start dating. Soon, an entire reality show will be based on their relationship and the first few season are a big success. Until the viewers don't seem to be interested anymore and the directors make some decision in disadvantage of Ann. Her boyfriend Scott is supposed to fake-date someone else and she can only stay on as the 'ex-girlfriend'. Fully expecting Scott to defend her, he does the opposite. Ann decides to take a break and ends up in Cave City, where the Amish community is prevalent, and to Ann's luck, don't watch TV. She temporarily takes on a false name and changes her looks and gets reconnected with the live she had before Hollywood. She becomes friends with Sarah, and Hunter Lewis, a very handsome and above all single architect who isn't Amish himself but respects their way of life. When Ann falls in love with Hunter, she knows there must come a time where she tells the truth about her identity. Will Sarah and Hunter be able to forgive her?
