Danny is a poor waiter who's struggling financially but also actually dreaming of a career as a singer-songwriter. While he is constantly making music, the last thing he would expect is to fall in love with someone who will never hear his compositions. But then he falls in love with Ariana. A well-priviliged and rich girl who lost her hearing abilities during her youth. Despite the difficulties they're facing, Danny starts to believe the impossible when they break their language barriers by writing on paper, sign language and an interpreter. And while Danny is showing Ariana his hectic life, Ariana's strict mother does'nt agree with their relationship. And despite Ariana's hearing problems, her mother seems to be the biggest obstacle they will have to overcome.
