That started in church and at school. She studied at the conservatory in Utrecht where she graduated cum laude in 2005. It was also the year she married her husband Reinder. They have three children together: daughters Ike and Liva and son Kene. Kinga gave singing lessons for a long time and in addition she worked for many years on numerous musical projects. She sang among others in Gospel Boulevard (2001-2004). She also participated in the Opwekking CD and the Pentecostal Conferences (2000-2015), both as a soloist and as a choir member. Kinga contributed to various albums of Psalmen voor Nu and of course became known to a large audience as a singer of the band Sela.
