On May 6, 2019, Kinga passed away at the age of 37 due to cancer, a disease she had been fighting for a long time. In this special In Memorial episode about her, we look back on this struggle and the way she inspired so many people during this period. Kinga Bán (1981) has been singing since she was 12 years old. It started in church and at school. She studied at the Conservatory in Utrecht where she graduated cum laude in 2005. That was also the year she married her husband Reinder. They have three children together: daughters Ike and Liva and son Kene. For a long time, Kinga gave singing lessons and also worked on numerous musical projects. She sang in Gospel Boulevard (2001-2004). She also participated in the Opwekking CD and the Pentecost conferences (2000-2015), as a soloist and as a choir member. Kinga contributed to various albums of Psalms for Now and naturally became known to a wider audience as the singer of the band Sela. You know it A lot of the songs in this episode come from Kinga's last theater program. This was a concert with new songs that give an insight into the Peter that Kinga got to know from the Bible.
