It has been over 3 years since Ned Stevens, a charmingly successful man, lost his wife Kate to cancer. Yet he still can't let her go and continue on with his life, despite his daughter's, Liz, attempts to get him back to dating. But when his daughter Liz brings home a new boyfriend from school, Ned thinks his comfortable world is being turned upside down. Especially when Liz tries to divert his attention to Carol, an attractive single woman who lives in the area.
