Jake Reeson is an up-and-coming country singer who has the world at his feet. When his ego gets in the way, Jake is forced to take a hard look at himself, as his life and his singing career start to fall apart. An old flame returns into his life and she's not letting his persona get in the way of rediscovering the real Jake. Meanwhile Jake's mother harbours a painful secret. His father, Jake thought was dead, is back in town. Will the family be able to find reconciliation?
